Research projects include brain state monitoring and the management of prosthetic joint infections in the knee and hip.

My key responsibilities included creative concept development, prototyping and testing, and engineering for manufacturing. I also contributed to project planning and management, stakeholder collaboration, and requirements management.

Graduation Design Engineer - SurGuide Medical - Erasmus MC-Rotterdam
SurGuide aims to improve the outcomes of oral cancer surgery. In collaboration with clinical partners at Erasmus MC, SurGuide is developing a surgical device based on image-guided therapy for rapid intraoperative assessment of surgical margins.
I was responsible for developing the design proposal for this complex medical device. My responsibilities included clinical research, exploring and testing market propositions, defining requirements, visualizing concepts, prototyping, conducting user tests, evaluating device functionality, and performing risk analyses.

Spark is a design studio that designs meaningful and breakthrough (healthcare and consumer) products.
I generated concepts and identified opportunities in co-creation sessions for a toothbrush start-up. Also, I tested the functionality and assembly of an electric rollator prototype.
